Hi! Welcome to MY get to know me…..My name is Lizette Vasquez-Pinto, I am a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor and the Director of The Therapy Team. My niche is working alongside teen girls and women who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life challenges and self-esteem issues. My favorite thing I do is help empower my clients to explore themselves and become self aware and set boundaries.
I am a lifelong learner, and am always researching and finding ways to help my clients explore their emotions and process through all of life's ups and downs. Therapy with me includes talk therapy, using art activities, lots of creative journaling methods and occasional walk and talks in nature.
I like to keep things real. This is the place to be honest and messy. Nobody that steps foot in my door has all of their shit together, including myself at times. I’m here to tell you it’s OKAY. I’m here, to hear about it ,and help empower you while processing through this. You deserve to be heard. You deserve to be healed.
FUN facts:
I have commitment issues and freaked out when my now husband tried to take me to look at rings after 3 years of dating. (I have learned to work through my issues with my own counselor, your grand counselor) We have been together for 15 years and married 10.
I am a girl mom, and I strive to be a Pinterest DIY mom, but honestly am quite comfortable being an Amazon Prime and Target mom. I look at her sometimes and still can’t believe she is mine.
My dog, Sophia, was a huge part of our life, she passed away a year ago and I am still going through the grieving process. One day we will add another dog to our family, we just are not ready yet.
I am a huge family person, probably because I have a huge family! We don’t always get along but we try…
I love to travel, especially when my husband does all of the planning and I get to sit back and enjoy the ride.
I love collecting memories through photographs and videos. You will catch me snapping pictures on the regular.
I would consider myself a social person and my brain is constantly on the go. I love to plan dates and find myself sometimes triple booking our family to events, but deep down I also love to be by myself and really enjoy when I can give myself some time alone at home.
I love a good cup of coffee or tea. I am a Dutch Bros girl, but love to visit and find new coffee and tea spots! My favorite thing to play with my daughter is tea time!
